Overview
Dealstorm Quick ("we", "our", or "the app") is a deals aggregator that shows you the best offers from quick-commerce platforms including Zepto, Blinkit, Flipkart Minutes, BigBasket, and JioMart — all in one place.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains exactly what information the app accesses on your device, why it needs it, and what we do (and don't do) with it.
The short version: Dealstorm Quick does not collect personal information such as your name, email, or location. The app displays ads via Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising ID to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalised ads at any time from your device settings.
Data We Collect
Dealstorm Quick collects no personal data directly. The app serves ads through Google AdMob, which may collect device advertising data as described in Section 06. Specifically, we do not collect:
We don't ask for your name, email, phone number, or any sign-up information.
We never request or access your device location at any time.
We do not access your camera, microphone, contacts, or any media files.
We don't use any analytics SDK, crash tracking, or behavioural tracking tools.
App Permissions
The app requests only the following Android permissions, each with a specific technical purpose:
INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — Used to fetch the deals data file from our server (dealstorm.in/quick/deals_data.json) and to detect whether your device is connected before attempting a network call.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS — Required on Android 13+ to send you deal alerts. Only requested once, and only if you choose to enable deal notifications. You can revoke this at any time in your device Settings.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED & FOREGROUND_SERVICE — Required by Android's WorkManager library to schedule background deal-check tasks reliably on certain device manufacturers (e.g. Xiaomi, Oppo). These permissions do not allow us to access any personal data.
Notifications
Dealstorm Quick has two types of deal notifications — both are fully optional and require your explicit permission:
Triggered from within the app when curated deals are added. You control this via the bell icon in the app.
Background checks every ~15 minutes for new deals on Zepto, Blinkit, Minutes, BigBasket & JioMart. Only active after you explicitly opt in inside the app.
Notifications contain only deal titles and counts — no personal data is embedded in them. You can disable notifications at any time from your device's Settings → Apps → Dealstorm Quick → Notifications.
Local Cache & Storage
To make the app load faster and work with minimal data usage, Dealstorm Quick stores the following data locally on your device only:
The latest deals data file is cached on your device so the app loads instantly without waiting for a network request every time.
Your opt-in/opt-out choice for store notifications is saved locally in SharedPreferences — never uploaded anywhere.
The last-seen update time per store is stored locally so the background worker can detect when new deals arrive without re-downloading everything.
All locally stored data is private to the app on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party. You can clear it at any time via Settings → Apps → Dealstorm Quick → Clear Data.
Advertising
Dealstorm Quick displays ads served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising platform operated by Google LLC. AdMob enables us to offer the app free of charge.
A small banner ad is displayed at the bottom of the screen while you browse deals.
Occasional full-screen ads may appear between page navigations, no more than once every few screens.
To serve and personalise ads, Google AdMob may collect and use your device's Advertising ID (a resettable, non-personal identifier assigned by Android). This data is governed by Google's own privacy policy and terms — we do not receive, store, or process this data ourselves.
Opt out of personalised ads: You can limit ad personalisation at any time by going to your device Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation. You can also reset your Advertising ID from the same menu. Non-personalised ads may still be shown.

Third-Party Services
Other than Google AdMob (described in Section 06), Dealstorm Quick does not integrate any third-party analytics, tracking, or SDK services.
The app displays deals from Zepto, Blinkit, Flipkart Minutes, BigBasket, and JioMart. When you tap a deal, you are redirected to that platform's website or app. Please refer to each platform's own privacy policy when you visit them, as their terms and data practices apply independently of this app.
Our deals data is fetched from our own server at dealstorm.in. This request includes no personal identifiers — only a cache-busting timestamp parameter.
Children's Privacy
Dealstorm Quick is a general-audience shopping deals app. It does not collect any personal information from any users, including children under the age of 13. The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from minors.
The app displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob is configured as a general-audience app and does not serve personalised ads to users identified as minors.
Policy Changes
If we make any material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Since we do not collect contact information, we cannot notify you directly of changes.
Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
